PURE SKIN CARE THROUGH Slow Cosmetics

The aim of slow cosmetics is to provide you pure skin care by being mindful and accepting of natural processes by enjoying the journey rather than the goals. It is to encourage consumers to be more curious and critical about the composition of products that are applied every day to face or body. Being aware of the hundreds of harmful chemicals in cosmetics, it is critical that the consumer – that is you – should avoid run-of-the-mill cosmetics and choose slow cosmetics that respect both your skin and the environment.

Our products help you build a healthy routine rather than doing quick fixes.

SANS FRAGRANCE

Scented products can contain several toxic chemicals that constantly turn into vapour in the air and attach themselves to hair, clothing, and surroundings. Research investigating has found that some of these chemicals are hazardous not good for pure skin care. At Acetaldehyde, diethyl phthalate, and benzene – have been identified as carcinogenic. Fragrances can enter the body through inhalation, ingestion or absorption through the skin.

Scents can affect not only the person wearing the fragrance but anyone who comes into contact with them. Problematic symptoms include nausea, dizziness, headache, itchy skin, hives, itchy eyes and nose, runny nose, wheezing, coughing, difficulty breathing, sore throat, asthma or asthma-like symptoms, and strange tastes in the mouth.

Our products have no fragrances or chemicals. They are pure to provide you with pure skin care.

Cruelty Free

In the animal rights movement, cruelty-free is a label for products or activities that do not harm or kill animals anywhere in the world. Products tested on animals are not considered cruelty-free since these tests are often painful and cause the suffering and death of millions of animals every year.

Our products are completely cruelty-free and ethical providing you pure skin care through chemical free slow cosmetics.

COLD-PRESSED OILS

Cold pressing is the method of oil extraction from oilseeds, nuts or fruits without really using heat to extract as that may degrade the oil’s flavour and nutritional quality, forcing out the oil through pressure. Cold-pressed oils retain all their flavour, aroma, and nutritional value, making these oils great for cooking and skin care requirements. They contain zero grams of trans fatty acids and are naturally cholesterol-free to provide you with pure skin care.

Body Butters

Emulsifiers, stabilizers, and other artificial ingredients could be added to help the butters remain solid, but the intrinsic value of having a natural, quality-ingredient body butter is lost at the sake of added chemicals. Our butters are created without artificial and harmful chemicals.

*Hot weather and transportation in hot climates can all affect the integrity of the product. So we advise our customers to stock up the butters in cooler months. Also, it’s not worth the risk of shipping your natural product in hot weather.
POWDER CLAY MASKS

The benefit of mixing the formula right before application is you’re getting a fresher, more potent mask because the ingredients are activated with the liquid. Dry, unmixed formula means most powder masks rely on natural ingredients and don’t require synthetic preservatives, which means they’re kinder to sensitive complexions. What’s more, the powder formula is better for travelling (no need to worry about TSA liquid guidelines) and storage.

Another benefit is powder masks can be tweaked depending on your skin’s needs and personal preferences. Users can play around with the quantity of liquid depending on their preferred mask consistency.

SOAPS

Soaps and Shampoos are everyday products that are used without putting too much thought. It is therefore surprising that commercial, personal-care products aren’t required to announce the harmful byproducts and carcinogens they may contain to the average consumer. On the contrary, our African black soap and Syrian soap are handmade with natural and organic ingredients using traditional methods. These unique soaps are used for centuries in Africa and the Middle East later taken to Europe.

You can look it up! These cultures vouch for their benefits and authenticity.
