Integrative Yoga

Integrative yoga is an ever evolving and intuitive style of yoga, picking popularity due to its natural tensegrity in the poses that suites all age groups, genders and body types.

Integrative Yoga is based on principles of spinal freedom and fluidity by Vanda Scaraveli and powerful mix of techniques of Yang elements from Hatha and Vinyasa flow, as well as oriental healing and martial arts methods. It incorporates the more inward and therapeutic Yin yoga infused with meditation and pranayama. Slow but powerful movements to feel one with nature and self through Chinese Qi Gong and Yi Jin Jing.

Integrative yoga emphasizes lightness in movements and stillness of mind – A perfect communication of body, mind and poses.

Yin yoga comes from the Taoist tradition. Yin Yoga postures are more passive – performed mainly on the floor – which help in meditation and long periods of pranayama. Yin is about finding stillness and cooling the body. This style of yoga targets the deep connective tissues and the fascia that covers the body; this form of Taoist yoga helps regulate the flow of energy in the body.

Yoga Nidra

A guided meditation which is known as ‘Yogic Sleep’, Yoga Nidra allows the body to relax and the mind to become inwardly alert. That is why it is often referred to as the border between the state of being awake and sleep. It is an immensely powerful meditation technique which promotes deep relaxation to calm the nervous system, allowing you to distress and boost your mental and physical health.

Thus Integrative Yoga is a blend of selected yoga techniques.
